latest happenings

okay so now that i am on facebook i have not been keeping up with my blog! we have had a busy fall already starting out october with a wedding, then jack started basketball which i am starting to wonder if i paid $25 for a t-shirt rather than b-ball lessons and time with other children. i am going to think positive. joe is gearing up for the upcoming duck hunting season and i am soon to be become a duck hunting widow(although i am not very sad!) my niece and nephews are all growing and i have a few pics of them too. layne and jack both have birthdays next month and jack is excited to be 3 and pass his 2 onto layne. enjoy!

Welcome Baby Malia!!

My first niece Malia Ann, was born Monday July 27th. She weighed 8lbs. 11oz. and was 21 inches long. she is already a chunker with chubby little cheeks. she may need to be a little stronger since big brother Layne thinks she is pretty much it and may want to get a hold of her if you turn your back on him. leisha and malia are both doing great and jack is excited to have a new cousin!

At the River-Fishing

joe took jack and i fishing on the river. he gave jack an actual hook with a worm on it and helped him to cast and catch several bluegill. he was very proud of the first several and then grew bored and asked to go to the sandbar. i was pretty proud he lasted about 45 minutes, not bad for a 2 year old!

Jayme's wedding

On May 31st we went to my cousin Jayme's wedding. Jack had so much fun dancing and playing with all the kids.

New Found Freedom

Jack will be so glad i took these pictures. He's wearing underwear now and this is what he wanted to wear to Aunt Leisha's today. I told him that was fine,but he had to wear shorts and a shirt.
